Pomegranate Gin Fizz
It's a typical Thursday evening and my husband asks if we have anything to drink before dinner. He is thinking wine and I start thinking about all of the wonderful concoctions that I can dream up. I start looking through our liquor cabinet and decide on Gin, Elderflower and a Raspberry Liqueur. They seem to be an interesting mix.

I notice that we have a fresh pomegranate sitting on the counter that needs to be seeded, along with the chocolate mint that I have growing outside. I figure with all of these flavors, it should make for a very interesting drink! It definitely hit the spot!

Recipe
Muddle in a Shaker
Brown Natural Sugar Cube or 1 oz simple syrup
Handful of pomegranate seeds
Lime juice (half lime)
2 small sprigs of chocolate mint
Once muddled, add in the next three Liqueurs...
1/2 ounce Elderflower
1.5 ounces of Gin
1 ounce Raspberry Liqueur
Shake with ice and strain over a lowball glass filled with ice. Pour club soda to fill the glass. Add a few pomegranate seeds and a sprig of chocolate mint. Enjoy!
